Come See Us!
Heritage Community Church meets Sundays, 10 AM at 500 Remington Avenue in north Bismarck.
Where Should I Go Upon Arrival?
There is plenty of off-street parking (westside of our building) as well as on-street parking (east, south, and west) for your convenience.
We've greeters located at the main door (south side of the building) who will be happy to help you find where you need to go upon entrance.
For folks with disabilities, dedicated parking spaces and ramp access are available at the office entrance on our building's northwest corner.
What are HCC's services like?
Each service includes a time of praise, prayer, preaching, and presenting resources back to God. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aimed at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.
Our service begins with about 15-20 minutes of contemporary praise & worship. This is followed by a time of prayer for personal needs.
Around 10:30 AM, our services' change of order includes receiving a weekly mission offering called Change The World! This is followed by the dismissal of children to ministry downstairs PLUS a few-minutes community break for people to welcome and greet one another.
This is all followed with a message, then closing in song.
When it comes to receiving offerings, we do not "pass the plate" at HCC. Rather, an offering box has been placed and clearly labeled on the information table at the back of the sanctuary. This allows donors to contribute support discreetly (Matthew 6:1-4).
We encourage all to give as they've purposed in their hearts to and to do so generously and with gratitude and cheerfulness (2 Corinthians 9:6-15).
Does HCC provide Ministry to My Children?
Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and
toddlers are provided during all church services. Additionally, designated classrooms and activities areas are utilized for students in grades K-5.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS/GUARDIANS:
1. HCC uses an electronic check-in system to facilitate the safety of your children (KidCheck introduction video link: https://vimeo.com/121385866).
Check-in takes place upon arrival in our downstairs children's ministry area (children are welcomed in our worship service at all times, should they choose to join the adults; those checked in for Children's Ministry will be dismissed after the praise & worship portion of the service upstairs at approximately 10:30 AM).
Check-in can be done before arrival. Use this link to set up your child's/children's account(s): https://go.kidcheck.com/signin.aspx
2. Ministry to infants and toddlers is availed to congregants beginning at 10 AM.
3. All adult ministry volunteers have been approved to serve subject to a clean, comprehensive criminal background check.
What should I wear?
Most of our members wear something in the range from business casual to very casual, no matter the time of year.
